A Warm Welcome

from a miserable night
with nothing to look forward to
  a welcome stranger sign appeared
a cozy place to sit a spell
not a neon sign all flashy...
(I should say Random Thoughts lead me here)
  ...I walked in wounded,crumbled,aimless
I had with me a few journal submissions
an acrostic or four a renewed call to haiku
   ...but whoa I digress....

I was (to my amazement) honestly excepted
 taken in if you would
(I even gave them the stink bomb test)
so I pulled up a lounger chair
a cup of my favorite brew
 at this little cafe
 in the electronic umbra
that I found on the way to nowhere
