For The Broken Hearted

In this city of endless pain Only the broken hearted will remain A sense of sanity is what you crave Wave goodbye to the love you couldn’t save Reality scares you and loneliness chose to stay You try to walk it off but some things don’t go away You beg for a friend to hold you through the night Your heart has broken as you walk away from the fight So many questions but the answers are never known Men don’t brake down so emotions are rarely shown Behind closed doors, you beg for one more chance You reminisce about your sweet and forgotten romance Another night filled with joy and laughter is what you miss Why couldn’t this fight be resolved with a rose and a kiss?

So sad and beautifully written. It's a story I can relate to. These lines are so true:- So many questions but the answers are never known Men don’t brake down so emotions are rarely shown Should it be break instead of brake? I love the last line. Nice work. Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

Love has a way to scare and delight us at the same time. You managed to capture the essence of your pain and carve it in stone. I will look for more of your writings to come.
