Real Fire

flames in the hills
L.A. set  ablaze
Sending the stars
fleeing from their
heaven smoking
celibrity memories
Hetchy can't hold
a candle to
Tinsle Towns torch

I hope

firstly that you are not in harm's way and secondly I wish I could right such eloquance. You bring sharpness and a cunning acerbic wit to this, I dig alot. Mark W.

Nicely done....

saw earlier and meant to come back to it, like you my mind is not altogether today. I wrote about this too, but think I only posted on the other poet site so far, called What is Sunshine? Will post it here after I review the other poem you suggested. Thanks, Patrick

How many Americans know

That Aussies sent highly skilled bushfighters to help you? You give aid when it gets you oil, but how much do you acknowledge aid? cheers, Jess
