A Saga

Living on sunshine, and promises,

and dreams that seem to fade,

with music as my pulse

and times I'd never trade;

and also times I'd soon forget

with moments I'd repeat,

with hope, my steady anchor

that reminds my heart to beat.

A saga filled with highs and lows

and times I was not the star,

a journey of enchantment

where I've traveled oh so far;

a life chock full of magic

where the blessings never end,

where I was never quite alone

for I've always had a friend;

and now I finally realize

so late-I must confess,

that I'm so very fortunate...

..for these things I still possess.

Well written

but, forgive this poor jaded old post-modernist, borders on the sentimental to me. cheers, Jess
