Unanswered Questions
You speak of a land
That is quite grand
A place for the free
Where leaders agree
Oh is this place easy to find
Or is it just in our mind
Lost in our every insecurity
Innocent like a virgin’s purity
Is this land understanding or cold
Are our god given rights easy to hold?
Does racism and pain take shape?
Are our daughters victims of rape?
Our sons do they need to fight
For a cause that’s not right
May our words be spoken?
Or will they be thrown like a token
Will our kids know about drug control?
Or will Satan take form in their soul
Just give me the anticipated truth
For the sake of tomorrow’s youth

Anymore, it's just in our minds...
