You speak of a land That is quite grand A place for the free Where leaders agree Oh is this place easy to find Or is it just in our mind Lost in our every insecurity Innocent like a virgin’s purity Is this land understanding or cold Are our god given rights easy to hold? Does racism and pain take shape? Are our daughters victims of rape? Our sons do they need to fight For a cause that’s not right May our words be spoken? Or will they be thrown like a token Will our kids know about drug control? Or will Satan take form in their soul Just give me the anticipated truth For the sake of tomorrow’s youth

yeah the future looks bleak

every time a new law is made an amount of freedom is taken away and if ya don't vote for the guy or gal from your neighborhood you think your putting a noose around your neck so just trying to do the right thing for you has to be the answer in my own little phylosophy. I don't know about anybody else but it seems the people who are tough enough to try and repeal and believe a better defence than all other offences is the way and here's where we lost it I believe (once again in my own little phylosophy) was in the 60s when we should have gone isolationist BUT it is way too late now WE ARE IN OVER OUR HEADS -it's too late and just a matter of time before another revolution that will make the anti war protests of the 60s and 70s look like childs play. All this of course is just an opinion. Paul, I really like this poetry as it poses so many controversies. I think taking them one at a time would be a great thing. I just got home from work. It's 8 AM and as you can see I am ready to rock - THE WEEKEND IS HERE (that is part of the story of my nick name - Marcoosh lol Thanks for entertaining my mind with your questions I needed that lol Truly, Mark
