Taunted Democracy

Have we taken the pieces of democracy? And replaced them in the form of hypocrisy Please have the dignity to not look away We know that you carefully think of what to say You took controversy and made it into an attack You called it terror but we call it a reason to come back Trenches filled with American souls that have deprived Children of parents, who ask why haven’t mom or dad arrived Mr. President, take a minute to look at this bold mistake Will you tell me truthfully that at night you don’t stay awake? And ask yourself, “How do I bring peace into every heart” Instead you sit in front of us and say that more should depart Can it be pure stupidity or has your compassion turned cold All of your lies and promises in great numbers were sold This nation was ready to be lead by your commands Now against you, your country in large numbers stands Is it right to be in this position or are we unpatriotic Let me guess your answer will be warm and diplomatic Or will you tell us that this solution will be affective Then why have we miserably failed our first objective Osama is still a threat as he laughs from some cave Spare the lives of those that will be known as brave

I utterly applaude this.

You have got guts. And let no-one you tell you poetry makes no difference. Every idea is a virus that spreads Ideas. Some people spread their genes, without care or responsibility, other spread their memes (intellectual genes)Remember not all viruses spread disease, some spread peace and understanding). every time truth is said the world becomes a better place. cheers, Jess
