When the Moon Speaks to You

How is it I

Have Come to this

Place in sights

Staring back

Pair of eyes

Bluer than lake

Smile that shines

Truer than sky

In her hold

Night takes turns

twisting thoughts

wants and wanes like

moon creeps cross

as clouds surround

we watch the dark

the sky speaks loud

all is frozen, ours

for a moment

the world belongs to us

and we belong there

in hold of the night

in her stillness

in her quell

in her sights

in her spell.

How is it I

Have Come to this

Place in sights

Moving around

Bought me here

Pressed ahead

Accepted fate

Blessed by wind

Gave up hate

let love come

opened heart

and here above

it all comes clear

with beauty in front

above and below

no fears in freeze

as winter’s heart

beats in cold’s howl

and at the end

of squawking scream

a laugh, if you will

listen and look

you shall

hear and see

and if you allow

joy to come

than it will

and you will find

all that you need

is all that you see

and than like sky

wind and lake

you will

            so beautifully

                                Be.

georgeianxu your poem

first part is rather nice. Into the second part I came to "Bought" and wonder is that spelled right. There seemed a bit of preachy business at the end of the poem and I needed to read it several times because of the short lines. Once I "had it" I liked it ::smiles:: Thanks, Mark
