Rainbow
Red, The color of the blood he shed
From his hands, his feet, his side he bled.
For you and me
The wounds there for all the world to see.
Orange, the sun that shone on a crown of thorns
Carrying the cross on a bright early morn.
He complained not, jewels of sweat.
Crying out for respect.
Yellow, Flowers on the fields of calgary
Corn growing in a hurry
To nourish
And replenish
Green, The grass beneath his feet
A soft lucious carpet, sweet.
A blessing to to those, an image on a sheet.
A shroud of mirrored refection
Blue The sky, spirtual re birth
Cleansing the earth
Washing away all our sins
And let man again begin.
Indigo,The oceans wide
On incomming tides
Giving rain
That sustains
Our very life
Violet, Search your soul
And again become whole.
And remember he died so you could live.
So love one another.
Give his blessing to your enemy, be his brother.
Rejoice in his word.
