2,4,6,7,8,2,Cinquian?

Cat if you were here I would High Five you!I have been looking high and low for this ,I won second place in a contest in the 7th grade with one of these .I will now be able to recall it,Intresting thing was the first place winner(in the school district)was a guy in my class who used the class example as his entery and the teacher didn't notice so the team won I learned a valuable thing that day. How awful to be beaten with a stolen poem! You have 2,4,6,7,8,2 as a Cinquain. I thought it was 2,4,6,8,2. Have I made a mistake? I think it is awesome that you won 2nd. If she would have noticed...you would have had 1st! Wolfy Cat

Yes, a pithy evocative write.

I think it would do me a power of good to try some of the discipline of some of these traditional forms myself. I did once make a short film in traditional sonnet form. Yes really. 14 scenes, conceptual shift between first 8 and last 6, shot length to establish iambic pentametre and visual imagery to set the rhyming scheme. cheers, Jess "Are we having fun yet?"
