A Rogue's Accolade Delivered Aboard a Pirate Ship to a Naive Youngster, the Sunny Bearer of Favorable News

 

Wondrously fortuitous!

Is your good news to us.

 

If it held bad—egad!—

My foolish, artless lad,

 

We so might then have made

You walk the longish plank

 

(And that sans serenade)

 

Right somewhere off the coast

Of island Trinidad.

Me think the Title is poem It' selv' Arrr,dance at the plank,I take or' Keel Haulin'! Toast o' Rum to ye' Bard! Jolly Dabber ps. I thinks the pirate translator is still functioning,maybe dip it in and see how it comes out salty.
