Waterloo
At the coners of the pane water forms
Then crystallizes into ice
The long process ends with a single unconcentrated breathe
That melts it all away
The light shines through cracks
And lets out lines of hope,
That are so eloquently placed on the floor
But your eyes blind mine, and block the sun from the sky
In the event of failure
The overshadowed dreams and all your old regrets come out
And you realize your flaws
And change to become what you are
Take down the walls
They can’t contain us all
But I got this dream that I can’t explain
It’s you and me, with the world at out feet
I have eyes at my feet, and a hand at my well worn finger tips
Take the pain from my eyes
And follow the tiles till the end
Then come the falling hammers on the chords
But in silence the vibrations fail, they seek the science to replace the fate
In the event of failure take the bricks from the wall
Behind them you will find my feelings hidden in plane view
But with a single word from your lips
They melt away the ice on my eyelids
Behind These Locked Doors
My heart Beats hard
But I boarded up these windows
To lock myself away
For I failed the world in every way
