bleak poem but not a bad one for at all--though i think you underestimate yourself, "I am always the same/Trying to keep up with the game". you've shown quite a bit of change and growth in the poems you've posted here. this is a quite, melancholy ode with a great rhyme scheme. nice job.

You said alot in a few sentences! I bet though you can conquer any obstacle once you get to this point in life.

but I don't like this one. Can't really even say why but I don't. Maybe it is just to sad for me to think that someone would just want to get on with the dying. :( sorry, but I do think you did a good job with rhyming and the flow is good. :) Julie

Loved this poem we live to die consuming burning energy havoc and hedonism our little worlds the inner selves churning or placidly calm we never rest for long it is our duty I have been in AA and NA and lately have NOT been in either but am out there lost in the barrens I am glad for you though its so hard sometimes to just say NO but you have your little son such grand wonder eh?
