[y]ou are only as old as

[are] your arteries … 

and perhaps you are most trim

 

when wanting excess calories …

 

and in your bettermost

financial health while

spending underneath

 

your meager post-tax salaries—

 

unless, by gosh and golly,

your earnings sooner be

discovered shockingly

 

much less than cheated Valerie’s …

 

in such a case, just quit

your thankless job to join

with ill-found hermits in

 

their aimless hidden galleries.
