Bamboozle

Gleefully… Perhaps… Too gleefully I pulled the blinders on. Avoidance of truth soothes reality I’d rather not bath in.   Simple perjury of ones soul… Morals he knows not. Easy to bask in his skewed legitimacy of truth.   I know not… my path ends yet his begins. Lies upon lies fill the pot… What love?   I sucked it in was made to believe. Alone is a hard pill to swallow.   Evidence comes to surface. One on one equals three?   Ultimatum served. Share our bed?   What the…? Done!

Nice Work

Gleefully… Perhaps… Too gleefully I pulled the blinders on. Avoidance of truth soothes reality I’d rather not bath in. Been there - how many times do we do this to avoid the issue? Alone is indeed a hard pill to swallow but then so is the pain for not facing up to reality. This poem shows me a great strength of character I like the way you have written this - and the form and flow are good. Nice work Kaz
