Burden of my beast

A kitten purring

 So meek & timid

A snarling pit-bull

 That is sick & rabid

Gluttonous or starving

 Mealtime is full of indecision

Which one do I feed?

Well that depends on my disposition

Waterdragon...

Thank you; The dispostion, is weather I want to continue to be an angry, vengeful, lonely dog; or change and be a compassionate, friendly, and happy kitten, its up to me. Is that what you were asking?

i believe

(though believing in anything is quickly becoming unfashionable on this site) that poets are among the most indecisive race of human beings on the planet. i can literally decide to do five things at once and get 1% of what i want out of each, reproach myself for it--only to do the same thing again maybe ten mintues later. one day it would be your snarling pit bull and the next it would be the kitten--even they'd be confused! neat poem, definitely articulating a very real point.

A snarling pit-bull kitten

Apparently you believe that believing in anything o this site is unfashionable, as well as believing us poets are indecisive -- I like your well articulated real point here, and find some real humor in your very apt description of how life can be -- especially for the motivated, creative, indecisive creatures that some of us poets truly are! LOL Reverend Bec Hudson Shine Your Light It's the ONLY Way to Get Rid of the Darkness!
