I'd Rather Not Know

A life that’s too predictable

just can’t be any fun,

I’d rather be in the dark

and wonder what’s to come.

I know some things will happen

my knowledge is not precise,

having ALL the information

couldn’t possibly be nice.

The only time it’d help me

is if I had to go to court,

or if I had the money

to bet on any sport.

It just would really bore me

knowing the future or each trend,

it’d be too much responsibility

knowing when the world would end.
