Odin's Vulsunga
Behind the mighty hindarfjall
with the spirit of Eriking,
behind the largest barnstock
where Gjuki was the king;
there hid the magic talisman
known as Brisingamen,
which Bor had sent his son to get
his name being Odin.
He rode upon his Sleipnir
and carried his trusty Gugni,
with his Draupnir on his hand
Joukahainen had given him, you see.
He had already slain Kraken
and the evil Nidhogg, too
but Fenrir, the evil one
was on his list of things to do.
Well, he slayed Fenrir with Gugni
and the Vulsunga will tell,
he stabbed Fenrir through it’s heart
and sent it straight to Hel.
