The Unknown
I am no smarter than a baboon
Wrapped up tight in my narrow minded cocoon
The vastness of life spread out before me
I’m afraid of the things I can not see
Emotionally nubile
Guess it’s better than living in denial
Crying with my whole body now when I crack
Rather go slam some smack
An adolescent as an adult
That’s why I had join this cult
I keep thinking it has to be pretend
But I am already awake there is no end
