Paper Thin
My heart is paper thin
Watch it as it tears from within
These feelings tear apart the bones
That line my dieing skin
And in the nights falling moon
I wait for morning but its not coming soon
The dark hours bring about
The days that our lives consume
But here in you beating heart
I feel love but I can’t play the part
I can feel you trying to take control
But it will stop before it starts
I fool you all with my false bravery
Acting like the world can’t stop me
But I live everyday without
The touch of love that could cure this disease
