fences.

Fishing trips, always catching the big one and
dutifully answering the endless "why?"

Grandpa is…

Being awakened in the middle of the night to watch an
eclipse of the moon.

Long car rides through canyons, anticipation in its
best form, "Are we there yet?"

Grandpa is…

Countless hours spent making deliciously sticky
strawberry jam.

Precious memories too numerous to
list.

Grandpa is…

Eternal unconditional love.
