Ergo

Cogito, ergo sum [!]

To recognize, perhaps,

My soon impending doom

When my dear mother

Comes upon my messy room.

(Author’s note: The Latin

Cogito, ergo sum (sum

pronounced soom), ascribed

to Descartes, translates to

the English: I think, therefore I am.)
