Calob
He had rough start
Coming into this world wasn’t easy
He couldn’t catch his breath
The nurses said he was just wheezy
He has kept me going
And made me stand still
He scrapes his knee running to me
It is my greatest thrill
He cry’s when I am hurting
He wants his mommy who isn’t there
I wonder if I am enough
That is my biggest fear
I can only teach what I know
The lessons hard learnt by me
Hopefully he won’t do what I did
And will instead be full of glee
He might grow up
God might want him back
He and I only have today
So I must stay on track
