The Weather of Your Soul
You can well affect another
even tough it’s not your goal,
it may happen automatically
caused by the weather of your soul.
Could be the changing tide of your mind
or an arctic wind across your heart,
the aloofness of a rainy spirit
or a calming breeze that didn’t start.
The moody sunset of your demeanor
can change the seasons of another’s soul,
the high tide of your inner being
could cause someone’s thunder to roll.
So do not share your storm fronts
don’t cause a rainy mood to start,
try to share the gentlest of breezes
and the good weather of your heart.
Bad weather days will surface
but they’re yours-and yours alone;
keep those storm clouds to yourself
lest you start a soul cyclone.
