Break Not My Self
please don’t
assume
and don’t
push your
preaching
into my
essential
sacred space
I am
content
with
the place
were I reside
in these
precious
moments
calmness
slowly
spreads
through
my veins
and
occasionally
baptises
an ill looking cell
you always
do
assume
that
I am
in need
of your
attention
which
then
kickstarts
your pulpit
preaching
self
you haven’t
assessed
the situation
you blindly
climb
onboard your
rose coloured
bulldozer
and raise
to the
ground
my soul
enriching
temple
which I have
delicately
built
with my
innocent
thoughts
borne through
isolated
silent meditation
