Marionette

Open arms play the hand of marionette. Ruling time, space and environment. One hand plays warden the other nurturer. Tremendous the multifaceted love of ones own. Fledglings falter upon the path to understanding. Spelling out the how’s and why’s yet again. The warden disciplines the nurturer soothes. Juvenile moments cherished gone with the wind.

this read like a series of statements,

The first line, and the analogy it unfolds, is brilliant. I like the idea and content. But it lacks flow. A small technical hint for this site, if you hit space and two enters before the first line and two enters and a space after the last line it lets the poem stand alone on the screen, cheers, Jess
