Rock, Paper, Scissors
A rock of courage cascades down a mountain of hope,
Gathering momentum as it rolls over new seedlings of truth,
Antithesizing the stories of agony scripted on wilted paper
It crushes these fetal trees to a pulp,
Milling fresh pages for a new chapter,
A hopeful pair of scissors cuts loose the binding that holds the mistakes of the past.
To be replaced with my lessons learned in this novel called life
