Changes

Sitting there quietly
well behaved and polite
not like you at all
i remember when
you use to joke and kid around
running, jumping, and doing stupid things…
that was you
now you sit there
like an empty shell
i wish i could bring back
the life i once saw in you eyes
i wish i could bring back
you courageous soul
but it has left and shall not return
and forever shall you sit there quietly
being well behaved

I thought it was well

I thought it was well written, although I'm not sure "Changes" really captures the whole feel of the poem, I would of never guessed that was the name of it, that name doesn't do it justice. I like the feel of the poem, I feel your desperation to change that person, but I still think you might want to consider another title, maybe with the word change in it.
