Hooked On Fonics

I am not a literature major, and I have never written a haiku, every poem I write, is just a messege from me to you

I may not be on the best seller list, or spoke in a poetry slam, when I write, I always speak, so that everyone can understand

From the pit of my stomach, to the tip of my tongue, through my ball point pen, the words will always come

Even when I’m bored, and don’t have a thing to do, I can always sit down and write something deep, and always filled with truth

I don’t know how far my words will take me, but there is one thing that I know for sure, I will never lay my pen down, that is the only way, that my words will endure

If I changed my name legally, I think I would call myself "listen", because every poem I write, I just want you to hear what I’m sayin

thank you,

I hear that in your poetry. But don't change your name, you might end up as "the artist formerly known as Listen" 8) cheers, Jess
