White Roses

It was a Sunday in September The day that I proposed. I gave you a diamond. And a single white rose.   Standing at the alter In a simple country church. Adorned with White Roses No longer would I search.   You made your way down the aisle In a flowing crimson gown With a bouquet of white roses. My tears were falling down.   The night of our first anniversary White roses did abound. With candlelight and champagne My heart began to pound.   Six months later as I held you I kissed you, and you smiled. I gave you a single white rose For the birth of our first child.

Hmmmmm....

I don't see it, but perhaps my eye is just not as critically trained as yours. But as always I certainly do appreciate your help..Nothing written has even been so perfect that it can't stand alittle help from friends. Take care, Brian (bellavistabear)
