My Neighbor

She’s an 80-year-old lady

She lives in fear and doubt.

The world has changed so much.

She’s afraid to venture out.

He husband of 60 years

Passed away a year ago.

She’s lost and lonely

It was such an emotional blow.

We check in on her daily

Make sure she has all she needs.

We get her groceries for her

We even trim her weeds.

I feel so sorry for her

One day soon that could be us.

She is a kindly gentle lady

Knowing her is a plus.

She’s like a member of the family

Caring for her is not a chore.

She’s a very special person

My Neighbor.

How the hell can such a good, caring person

subscribe to politics that disenfranchise the poor and validate corporate greed? Let's get this politics forum happening, you astound me with your compassion and sensitivity while subscribing to politics that seem to me evil and greed riven. cheers, Jess

What can I say?

I'm a walking mass of contradictions...or so I've been told on numerous occassions. I love the fact that nobody know's me as well as they might think... See ya! Brian (bellavistabear)
