Mankind the Accused

and with a rhyme or two
you don’t need to guess
or scrape from the floor
your neighbours flesh

we are the accused
we are the guilty
collectively

what have we done
to this once
beautiful planet

EXTINTION OF SPECIES
POLLUTION
GENOCIDE
WW1
WW11
possibly WW111
VIETNAM
POVERTY
DISEASE
MAN MADE BIO WEOPONS
DEPLETED URANIUM
DEFORMED BABIES
ABORTION
GREED
CHEMTRAILS
MIND CONTROL
ORGANISED RELIGION

well, that’s just a brief
itinerary of why
we should be ashamed
the list is endless
and guess what MANKIND
is indeed DEFENCELESS.

and my commentary could never do your fine work justice, which is what this poem seeks. don't know about the caps, and check spelling at the end, but another fine product from England!

PLEASE !!! I'm proud to be a Scouser, not so proud of what my country has become. I appreciate your comments, as always. I used the caps as a highlighter( I was very angry when I was writing this poem), I think it works, but I'm open to suggestions. As for spelling, I've checked the last verse and it appears to be ok. Anyway, much appreciated. Lenny
