From my Window

From my window

I saw the sunset. 

You crossed my mind

in so many ways that…

 

There was a loneliness

inside me

that stayed and…

 

I remained glued

to my window,

refusing to leave

the sunset,

and my thoughts of you

 

I do not know

just when I fell asleep.

 

I only know that

I woke up,

to the most beautiful

sunrise and…

 

I still had

thoughts of you

I hope I didn't steal the thought of you ever wanting to fall in love again. I can post something that maybe perk up your spirits about that subject. Love is tough though and there have been a time or two I had to write (pen & paper)right out of it. The last one I had to pray it out; I gave it to the Lord. Jess, I'm glad you liked my poems, that means a lot to me. I'll dig up something special and see if you recognize it for only your eyes to recognize. Let me know when you do... Oh lady

you stole nothing from me. I fall in love every day, with people. Just the insanity of love I avoid. I am a man who gives the whole world away when I "fall in love". I don't know how to stop that. So now I am happy to love people I meet. cheers, Jess

Good morning Eddie. Glad to see you were reading my poems. Thanks for your comments and I see you found that "dictionary" (hee hee). I've got a big smile on my face reading everything you said. The sunset is something else. I have watched it many times while fishing and it is sooo beautiful. ladywriter
