From my Window
From my window
I saw the sunset.
You crossed my mind
in so many ways that…
There was a loneliness
inside me
that stayed and…
I remained glued
to my window,
refusing to leave
the sunset,
and my thoughts of you
I do not know
just when I fell asleep.
I only know that
I woke up,
to the most beautiful
sunrise and…
I still had
thoughts of you
