1985 is My Black Address

I listen
to marillion
at full blast

don’t want
anyone

to hear
me crying
as I baptise
a treasured
and intense
relationship

to the
infinite
universe
of my growing
scars

you have taken
a piece of me
and
hung it
up on a
crucifix

and from
a safe distance
trembling
I watch

as I fade
with my
heartache
to black
