I have had all I think I can take with all this "growing" business. Picaso, in my eyes drew really weird stuff. Personally, when I draw eyes, I put them next to each other. He had other ideas. If he followed your "grow" ideas and painted like everyone else, he would not be as famous as he is. Dead or alive. Maybe your stuck in a uniform way of thinking but in my experience (and I have had a lot in the last two years) with what editors are looking for in POETRY, not books or articles but poetry, they stress, DIFFERENT, FRESH. They are tired of the non-Picaso's. I don't follow the rules Jess, for a reason. Because I DON'T WANT TO. It's all very simple. It's got nothing to do with listening, it's all about creating. And if I don't want to check and tweak my "mechanics" I don't have to. But, the main point is, it's offered here as a CHOICE. If you wanted to question my choice, then it should have been done privately. PERIOD. Why should anyone else here follow the rules if advocates don't? I for one am not very sure I want to remain one, or a member. So, yes, I am throughly pissed off right now and in MY eyes, I have a right to be. I appreciate all your reviews Jess, but damn it, you have to let the artist do it his/her way. If it's the wrong way, I will find that out myself. So far, My published work says different. K. Mulroney
