True Awakening

 

 

The moon had bid us goodnight,

daylight found us sound asleep,

holding tight to one another;

our bodies were tangled as one

 

I woke, I heard you snore,

so quietly, I touched you.

Your body became alive

for me to explore

 

Yes, we have the time, until…

The moon would bid us goodnight

once more
