Inward Bound

in my mind
I see

a blank screen

no applause
greets me

I am
alone
in my very
own
cosmos

which fits nicely
onto the
blank screen

I am

in reality
or beyond

a pointless
zero

Wow

What a feeling of spiraling in a black hole! To have a thought of yourself that competes with a blank screen is almost like trying to visualize what the edge of the universe looks like. Very deep stuff here Lenny. K. Mulroney

Gracious Thanks

I always appreciate your comments, so Kim and Chuck thanks for your input on this poem. Nicky, my wife sonnt to be feels that this piece expresses what it may be like to have an illness, such as autism or alzeimhers. For me, this is a similar experience to meditation when I go surfing within! Lenny
