OUR LAST GOODBYE

even though we are miles apart,

our hearts and our love will never part.

you came into my life as a friend,

and some how we became lovers.

we never thought we would ever have to say goodbye,

but the good lord made it out to be this way.

i never thought i would go this early,

but this illness came upon me with out any warning,

and then it took over the rest of my life.

you helped me get through some of my hardest days and nights,

you stood by me through all my pain and suffern.

you were so brave my love.

oh please baby, please dont cry,

for i am better off in the hands of the lord.

i promise you i will not cry,

and i will not suffer anymore,

for i have gone to heaven.

this is my last goodbye and my finale wish,

please let someone find a cure for all chronic illnesses.
