comment on only poems with no comments yet, but I ran across this and had to say that is so awesome. I got in to this from the first verse. You are right. An impromptu hesitation is a perfect description. Sorry Jess, but in my eyes, the best poetry must have a moment within it that came swiftly but halting for only a moment before they turned perfect. Perfection is never planned. I don't care what anyone says. Great piece! K. Mulroney

I think we have similar modes of writing. If a poem has a stanza break every 2 lines, or every 3, or whatever. Is that impromptu? cheers, Jess
