Poof!

The case of Auntie Clare

Is cloaked in myst’ry, I despair:

She once jumped off

A gravely canted house’s roof

And just went … well, uh, poof!

She never gained the ground

And never could be found.

She vanished in pinched air

As if she’d ne’er in past been there …

Or really much of anywhere.
