Love Evolves From Fear

Like a diamond sparkling in the night,
Your eyes gaze so deeply into mine
The ice like tears seep out of the corners,
And stain your cheeks that I had once admired

My love for you is like the ocean,
Never ending, and constantly in motion
I have gazed into the eyes of an angel,
And I have felt the pain from hell
But for me this is heaven, just laying here in your arms

I have seen love, and I have sulked around in its darkness
I have seen love, and I have danced in the light of its starlit nights

Like a storm cloud over the desert,
I feel this urgency in me to empty my emotions
I only lie because I want you to believe,
That I have done all that I could to save our dreams

You touch my heart,
And God whispers in your ears
‘Love evolves from fear’

I have seen love, and I have sulked around in its darkness
I have seen love, and I have danced in the light of its starlit nights
