An Organ Ripe

The accident, so bad,

Was very, very sad.

They were then transporting

At cost exorbitant,

By contracted covenant,

An organ ripe for transplant

To a liver patient

(A note irrelevant).

The piano would have

Come quite sometime later

Via ocean freighter.

I may well be mistaken

as often, but I sense a deep personal tragedy here. If I am not wrong, perhaps it was a time to shoot from the hip. cheers, Jess

p.s.

I don't actually know what "shoot from the hip" means. Something to do with making a strong response without asking questions? cheers, Jess

Re Organ and Piano

I spent my childhood in churches. Where there was a church organ, there was always a church piano that accompanied. My mother specialized in piano, my father in organ, and they dueted infrequently. So for someone who's used to seeing a piano with an organ, it now seemed ripe to play with both. Yours, Chuck

you

always astonish me with your whimsy, I am perpetually in awe. Your contrast between the musical instrument and human organ and the timeliness of each's arrival. Nice. Mark
