Lies to children 2
Sticks and stones
may break my bones
but words can never hurt me
A lie told from care
to protect
but how may it twist?
Kids are not stupid,
but they are cruel,
if they won’t break my bones,
they won’t break theirs
And
I won’t
get
in
trouble.
