OUR PRESIDENT

  OUR PRESIDENT

He  is a man of gem in Her crown
His works are to lift her head
H e never cares about the heads
His works are are to strengthern the roots

His smile paves a new road to us and
his hands and thoughts will lift us to peak
The whole world will speak our pride
Then only his eyes will take rest

He is more than our father and
He is more than our soul
He is our President
We want him to this nation  forever

DEDICATED TO OUR PRESIDENT OF INDIA

the president.

you don't have to post the same poem so many times. is your president really that good? what does he do? i have an inherent distrust for patriotism, since it often leads to mind control/hate etc. my personal opinion... harry.

Rashtrapati

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalamcheers? Sorry, I am very ignorant about Indian politics, is he still president? If so I seem to remember he was active in development of nuclear weapons for India. As well as building weapons of mass destruction did he also support the dam projects that disenfranchised so many poor Indians that the wonderful activist and humanitarian Arundhati Roy spoke so well about? Can he even love his children? Jess

ARE YOU A PESSIMIST?

Dear reader what happened to you ?.I have seen your previous comment and the present resembles you as a pessimistic charactor. please be free and look everything in a optimistic look. Very great feeling is patriotism but you've criticised and avery great president DR A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM,our president of India again you showed your hatred on his previous achievements. sorry SAKTHI RAVICHANDRAN

never a pessimist, dear Sakthi

perhaps cynical and suspicious of all politicians. Certainly critical where criticism is earned. Definitely think that while loving ones country is natural and fine, patriotism can be an ugly beast. cheers, Jess

um,

my good friend Sakthi, hopefully you know I love your poetry, but I have to admit that I picture you typing this with a big fat smile on your face. Then the camera pans up to reveal two Indian Police officers with guns pointed at your head demanding you write something "nice." Is everything ok there, big guy? Mark W.
