Heart Seams Tear

Taking control of the soul you break away
Becoming one in myself I am inclined to say
I have a heart worth loving but you cant be the same
What is this life that I live worth if I cant have fame
I have nothing to present myself with and no one to fall on
I had the world around my fingers but that’s the last thing I want to hold on to

You pull the love from my heart
And refuse to help it restart
This world is filled with cowards and lovers
Its only the innocent screams, I fear
That let these heart seams tear

Taking control you realize you have nothing
But losing love and everything alike
You realize that you never had anything
And it is about time you felt what it is like

ah, A.M. Painter,

where or where did you go and when will you come back? This poem was the epitomy of everything I loved yet loathed about your writing. Fantastic, raw talent and yet this woah is me attitude. I love the lines "I had the world around my fingers but that’s the last thing I want to hold on to" and "This world is filled with cowards and lovers" classics that I wish I wrote, but overall this is gleaming like a gem, and yet overwrought.
