Los Angelis
On slender days
When air is scarce.
And the sun is oblivious
On a blanketed day
When smog is the menace
And air is unvictorious
I sit a wonder why
Los Angelis is my home
And yet gleaming lights
Twinkle through the maze of fog
And you are there
Somewhere beyond my vision
And your warming love
Slices through the sheets
Of blindness
Then I know though man made
I can endure
Los Angelis
