Omelette

If you can’t make an omelette
without breaking eggs,
how important
is the omelette?

bravo

This a Zen Koan kinda piece which has appropriate philosophical implications indeed. You raise a lot of dangerous questions in these four lines, which is what poetry should do, if it should do anything. Sweet!

Omelette

First of all, I nearly choked to death laughing at the commentary from Mark! I was already laughing at the sheer simplicity of the poem when I made the mistake of reading the comments. I can make an omelette without cracking the eggs. It's a secret, though. I'd have to kill you if I told you. Best, Ronda

This is a good one Jess, I don't think I have an answer for you but seems that Ronda has one. If you want to get killed :) Greetings, Roxana.

Omelette

What do you call half an omelet, an om? I hope you choke on it Jess. I don't break eggs, I grind them up. More calcium you know. Sheesh, that poem makes my head hurt. Best to ya. Rett anything free is worth just what you pay for it.

The answer....

...is as simple as the poem. Just purchase "Egg Beaters". It comes in a carton. Really, the question is..."How hungry are you ?" Write on ! #{:>{)}@==== docmaverick
