Blank

Blank

A solid white

The canvas

What shall one do

To mess up just one time

Could change the path of life

The smile on the face

It just might be fake

The sadness in the eyes

Just might not ever go away

So the blankness defines the life

The freedom

The blessed idea of ones free will

Do you make a mark

Risk a mistake

Or is it that maybe

It might be the greatest thing

As you walk through life the blankness will fade

As the color of the world effects you from day to day

When my life is done

My canvas will be full

Never one mistake

For life has a purpose and life has a meaning

Every mark, every mistake

Is a memory that I have made

I relate so much!

thought of my poem "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" I see you have taken to aligning left, I think it is an improvement. I also see you have posted 24 poems! Crikey. I do my best to read all the new works and comment where I can but that is a lot. Please have patience. May I humbly suggest that you submit in smaller groups so others don't get overwhelmed? Your work will get a fairing reading, not skimmed, and more chance of valuable feedback, cheers, Jess
