I Am

I am built
of many organic parts
I am
Herculean in my weakness
my Herculean weakness I
am shellshocked
flesh and blood and
hair and I.
I am 21 years of migraines
and three,
count ‘em three
kidney stones,
the result of uric acid building up
and solidifying.
I am
type A Positive
and I am blue eyed and white
and will not apologize for that I
am a capable humanitarian and I
can hurt you worse than you’d believe
can you believe?
Ask Diane Crawford and Aaron Blankenship
they certainly believe
I can.
I can and I am
shellshocked, formerly
now in control and angry.
I am unifying anger I
am the snake in the "I."
I am the former underdog,
the defeated, I
am
the former circus clown,
the imperfect
now I am
I am
indeed
thirty - one years
of simply being
of simply needing
no more
I am
aware of my limitations
and work around
over and through them.
I am
only stoppable
in the most temporary sense
I am
as constant as night
in the northern sky
I am February
I am project 108
I am life and I am death and I am
every bit of strength in these powerful bones
I am I am
I am flawed and connected
I am a reacher
I reach I live I
am weakness and humility,
yes, humbled as it were
I am Palpatine at the end of Sith
I am hidden.
I am.
I simply
Am.
