ok Kim,

so I'm digging this poem, right? And I'm reading it, kind of grooving to the flow and suddenly, unexpectedly I get to "they bear." And the flow stops cold. The following sentence looks like it belongs with the previous one, but not really, but maybe. Huh. I like your intellectual assertiveness here, and finally I find a poem about women by a woman! I like your decending scheme at the end "they are..." I am wondering if your capitalization in unusual places is intentional? Wow, this review was rambling, too early on a Sunday.

Yep

I capitalize every word that begins a new verse. A habit and I think it looks good. But, hey, thats just me. And the bear should be bare and I have no excuses! K. Mulroney

I like to take complete control of punctuation and capitalisation because they are amongst the very few things i can completely control. Nonetheless I don't bother unless its important. cheers, Jess

Of all the advances that

Of all the advances that many men may claim they've made in regard to women's place in their (men's) society---see how I got that in?---it's been mostly just lip service propounded to mask further inaction. And to forgo effective action. Your "A luminous fury" strikes hot. And so real. And as for the women? I don't at all blame them for feeling that way. There would be something wrong with them if they didn't. Thanx for a rewarding read, Chuck
