I’m quite impressed

to see

that robin redbreast

(and without apology)

has made her nest

in my backyard’s apple tree—

with some finesse

(or its facsimile)—

outside my bedroom

window …

as robin broods

such dainty eggs,

she hides her legs—

and has me biding time

in limbo
